History

Bhairab Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a traditional organization. The journey of this organization started in 1987 with the Alhaj Mohammad Ali hossain, the founding president. The Bhairab Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-profit and service-oriented commercial organization established by the Government of Bangladesh to protect the interests of local traders.
Under the leadership of the current Prime Minister, Bangladesh has evolved from a low-income country to a developing country, and according to the World Bank, Bangladesh has been ranked among the top 20 countries in terms of doing business by 2020. The country is moving forward today under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with the launch of the first communication satellite Bangabandhu-1 for the construction of digital Bangladesh, including cloud projects like Padma Bridge, establishment of Rooppur nuclear power plant and construction of 100 industrial zones. The Bhairab Chamber of Commerce and Industry is proud to be a partner in economic development.
